iPhone Fold Pricing Allegedly Leaked: Less Than A Kidney But More Than Your Soul

Apple’s first foldable iPhone is rumored to arrive in 2026, and early reports suggest it won’t come cheap. The device, expected to be called the iPhone Fold, could carry a premium price tag that surpasses rival foldables.
iPhone Fold Price Leaked

According to Fubon Research, which bases its forecast on supply chain data and Apple’s margin requirements, the iPhone Fold price is expected to be around $2,399 (approximately RM9,934). This positions Apple’s foldable well above the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, which starts at $1,999 (retailing in Malaysia from RM7,799).
Analysts believe the higher price is driven by material costs, including:
- Advanced flexible display panels
- Durable hinge mechanisms
- Lightweight components designed to balance portability and strength
Despite the premium pricing, Fubon Research projects Apple could sell 15.4 million units, with 5.4 million expected in 2026 alone.
Rumored Features
Leaks suggest the iPhone Fold will include:
- A crease‑free 7.58‑inch flexible display
- A 5.8‑inch cover screen for quick access
- A larger battery compared to the iPhone 17 Pro Max
These features aim to position Apple’s foldable as a high‑end alternative in the growing foldable smartphone market. Of course, it’s still too early to get any solid information on the device, especially when things can change anytime between now and it’s launch. For now, stay tuned for further updates.
