iPhone 17 Cases Appear in Malaysia Just Before Launch, Major Leaks Confirmed

The iPhone 17 Series has yet to be officially unveiled by Apple, but that isn’t stopping tech gadget retailer Ninjaz from displaying the phone cases.
Yes, that’s right. The iPhone 17 Series is slated for launch on 9th September (that’s 10th September, 1 AM for us folks in Malaysia). Multiple leaks and renders have all but confirmed the design of Apple’s latest flagships.
So far, these have been spotted overseas, but the cases we saw firsthand at Ninjaz were the first we’ve spotted in the country.

The cases confirm not only the designs and dimensions of the 17 Series, but also the naming conventions. True to the leaks, the latest iPhones will consist of the base iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max—along with the addition of an iPhone 17 Air, which will replace the Plus model. These names were all tagged on the covers themselves.

The cases align with all the previous leaks reported so far, the most notable of which is that the iPhone 17 Air will sport a single camera—evident from the case outline, which only has space for one lens. Additionally, the cases for the 17 Pro and Pro Max models have large cutouts at the top quarter of the case, likely to accommodate the enormous camera plate expected to appear on the models.

That said, these covers are still somewhat scarce. We’ve only spotted three case brands so far: Comie, AtouchBo, and Mocome. Plus, these cases are fairly basic, with only transparent and black options available. However, their relatively cheap RM15 pricing could make them a good deal if you plan to secure the iPhone 17 Series the moment it’s in your hands.
