iPhone 16 and 16 Plus Models See RM500 Price Drops; 16 Pro Models Now Discontinued

To all the smart buyers biding their time to get their hands on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus at a lower price, now might just be the best time to cash in. With the iPhone 17 line-up now flourishing in the spotlight, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus have understandably seen a whopping price drop that could make the now-older models more appealing to Apple fans and prospects.
The Apple Malaysia official website now lists the iPhone 16 (128GB) for only RM3,499 – down from the original retail price of RM3,999. You’ll also notice that the 256GB variant is now “only available with iPhone 16 Plus,” while the 512GB option has been completely de-listed.

As for the iPhone 16 Plus, only the 128GB and 256GB versions are still available for purchase on the website. They too have received massive cuts, with the former now priced at RM3,999 (down from RM4,499) and the latter at RM4,499 (down from RM4,999). To jog your memory, a 512GB configuration was available when it first launched, but it looks like Apple has completely removed that variant from its website.

As for the iPhone 16 Pro models – these have been discontinued and are no longer featured on the website. Instead, if you were eyeing a Pro model, you’ll need to turn your gaze to the latest iPhone 17 Pro iterations, which start from RM5,499 in Malaysia.
