Intel appoints new Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific and Japan

Intel has announced a new Vice President and Managing Director for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, Santhosh Viswanathan. This new role will see him expand from his previous role of just India to the whole APJ region, including Malaysia.
Santhosh will now oversee Intel’s business, brand and customer engagement efforts across the continent, and be responsible for driving business growth and advancing Team Blue’s strategic priorities across the region. He’s been with Intel for over two decades now, having first joined them as a channel account manager in India back in 2003.
“APJ is one of the most diverse and fast-growing regions in the world, and its strength lies in its people, partners, and technology ecosystems. I am excited to take on this expanded responsibility and work closely with our teams and customers to unlock new opportunities, drive growth, and create lasting impact across the region,” – Santhosh Viswanathan, Vice President and Managing Director, Intel APJ
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management along with an MBA, and previously was the Global Director of Operations for Intel in the US, leading sales operations, strategy and planning. He later led Intel’s operations across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, before taking on the role of Vice President and Managing Director for Intel India.
