Insta360 X4 with 8K video recording now available in Malaysia; Price starts RM2,599
Insta360 has just launched its latest mini action camera here in Malaysia. The Insta360 X4 is the brand’s new 360° camera boasting high resolution video recording and an upgraded battery.
Here in Malaysia, the Insta360 X4 is available in two options: Standalone, and Basic Kit, with the only difference being the inclusion of the Invisible Selfie Stick in the latter option. Here is the official pricing of the Insta360 X4 in Malaysia:

Aside from the camera itself, both the Standalone and Basic Kit will come with a standard lens guard, a Type-C to C cable, a protective pouch, and a lens cloth.

If you’re wondering about specs, the new Insta360 X4 is able to capture 360° footage at 8K30fps and 5.7K60fps thanks to its newly fitted 1/2″ sensor.
As indicated earlier, there’s also a new Invisible Selfie Stick that’s designed in such a way that it’s not visible in your footage when you shoot in Me-Mode. For this, you’ll have the option of 4K video recording 30fps, or 2.7K at 120fps.
If slow motions are your thing, the Insta360 X4 now shoots slow-mo at 4K100fps, while regular video recording will allow you to shoot up to 4K60fps. As for photos, the X4 now captures up to 72MP 360° photos.
The camera also gets an upgrade in batteries, now packing 2,290mAh for 135 minutes runtime.
Shooting specs aside, Insta360 has fitted the X4 with a few protective measures. The first being a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on its 2.5″ touchscreen. For the lenses, Insta360 has included a removable lens guard in the box which you can easily attach to the lens of the X4. Moreover, the camera is waterproof to up to 10 metres, making it ideal for shallow watersports such as snorkeling.
