Infinix Launches 13-inch XPAD GT Gaming Tablet in Malaysia; Priced at RM1,699
At the same event they launched the GT 30 Pro smartphone, Infinix also unveiled just its second tablet ever – the XPAD GT. This is the gaming version of the original XPAD tablet released late last year.
Despite being marketed as a gaming tablet, it isn’t as flashy as its RGB-lit GT 30 Pro smartphone cousin. In fact, put them side by side, and the XPAD GT looks rather muted.
At a quick glance, all you’ll see is a clean grey slate, but look a little closer and you’ll find subtle etchings in the corners of the tablet. There’s also no variety in colour as the tablet only comes in Stellar Grey.
Aesthetics aside, the XPAD GT is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip. Based on its track record, the chip is optimized for gaming and should be able to run popular mobile titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Honor of Kings (HoK) smoothly.
While it does miss out on an OLED panel, visuals will still hold up well with its 13-inch 2.8K (1840×2880) display. Moreover, the whopping 144Hz refresh rate is more than enough to provide silky smooth gameplay.
Keeping the XPAD GT running is a 10,000mAh battery supporting 33W charging. It has a decent array of speakers – eight to be exact – with a 3D sound system.
Infinix XPAD GT price in Malaysia
The Infinix XPAD GT is priced at RM1,699 and comes in a single 8GB/256GB configuration in Malaysia. Sales for the tablet will begin on 24 May 2025, with early birds eligible for a free magnetic keyboard and stylus worth RM599, while stocks last.
