Infinix XPAD Edge: 13.2″ 2.4K tablet arriving in Malaysia on 18 December

Infinix Malaysia has begun teasing their latest device, and this time it’s a tablet. Dubbed the XPAD Edge, Infinix says that this tablet will be officially launched in Malaysia on 18 December. It’s designed to have a premium design with powerful features while remaining practical for students, professionals and creators.

The Infinix XPAD Edge’s standout feature is the large 13.2-inch display pushing a 2400 by 1600p resolution. It boasts an 88.1% screen-to-body ratio with a typical brightness of 450nits, along with TUV Rheinland dual eye protection certification, for sharp and comfortable visuals.

As for the rest of the hardware, Infinix hasn’t revealed the internals just yet, but several Shopee listings for the XPAD Edge are already live. Those listings claim that the XPAD Edge features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 system-on-chip under the hood with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The chassis itself is a unibody metal frame, and the whole tablet is only 6.19mm thin and 588g light.

Because it is 2025 of course the XPAD Edge will come with a bunch of AI-powered features too. The XPAD Edge includes the Folax voice assistant, Hi Translation tool, AI Smart Screen recognition and AI Creation. Then there’s also WPS Office which comes pre-installed for PC-level office productivity as well as a PC secondary display mode.

Other features of note include 4G and WiFi connectivity on top of a 4-speaker setup that Infinix claims will be 300% louder. Again, the XPAD Edge will officially launch in Malaysia on 18 December, so stay tuned for more about it here on PriceShop Malaysia.
