Infinix to debut the NOTE Edge in Malaysia with world-first Dimensity 7100 5G and 6500mAh battery

Infinix is set to redefine the mid-range segment with the official launch of the Infinix NOTE Edge on 4 February 2026. This new device aims to balance premium aesthetics with high-end performance, most notably debuting as the world’s first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G platform. This chipset is engineered to deliver a seamless blend of power efficiency and next-generation connectivity for multitasking and immersive entertainment, achieving an impressive AnTuTu score of over 810,000 points.

The NOTE Edge also marks a significant milestone for the brand in Malaysia by introducing a massive 6500mAh battery, the largest in its local lineup. Remarkably, this high-capacity cell is housed within a sleek 7.2mm ultra-slim body, weighing just 185g. The battery is designed for extreme longevity, featuring industry-first self-healing technology and the ability to retain 80% capacity after 2,000 charge cycles, which equates to roughly six years of use. It also supports 45W fast charging, capable of reaching a 50% charge in just 27 minutes.

Complementing this power is a 6.78-inch AMOLED 3D Curved 1.5K Eye-Care display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a near-borderless viewing experience thanks to its 1.87mm ultra-narrow bezels. The screen features a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, ensuring visibility and durability. On the back, the device carries a customized 50MP main camera optimized for low-light photography, while the audio experience is enhanced by dual stereo speakers professionally tuned by JBL.

To celebrate the arrival of the device, Infinix will host an exclusive TikTok Live launch sale on 4 February from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Hosted by tech reviewer Jay Khor, the event will offer viewers livestream-only discounts, limited-edition Envelope Bag giveaways, and a chance to secure an exclusive NOTE Gift Box worth RM599 with their purchase. Customers who buy during the stream will also receive a complimentary water bottle as part of the launch rewards.
