Infinix Note 60 Ultra open pre-order for RM2,999: 200MP camera, designed by Pininfarina

Fresh off debuting the Note 60 Pro, Infinix is following it up with their Note 60 Ultra. This is perhaps their most premium Note series smartphone yet, thanks in big part to it being designed in partnership with Pininfarina, one of Italy’s best known design firms known for cars like the Ferrari 250 and Fiat Coupe.

Infinix Note 60 Ultra specs and features

Being designed by Pininfarina unsurprisingly means that the Note 60 Ultra comes in Torino Black and Monza Red colourways. Just like its Note 60 Pro little brother, the Note 60 Ultra has a customisable active matrix display on the back too to show you the time, alert you on notifications and even play minigames. However, the camera module,, rear active matrix display and lighting array is all housed in what Infinix is calling a ‘Uni-Chassis Camera Module’, inspired by the monocoque chassis found in sports cars.

Speaking of cameras, the Infinix Note 60 Ultra packs a 200MP, f/1.7 main camera sporting the Samsung ISOCELL HPE sensor, flanked by a 50MP, f/2.9 periscope telephoto offering 3.5x optical zoom as well as an 8MP, f/2.2 ultrawide while a 32MP, f/2.2 selfie camera sits up front.

Powering the Note 60 Ultra is a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate system-on-chip, mated to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It runs Android 16 out of the box, skinned with XOS over it, and Infinix says it’ll support at least 3 years of major Android OS upgrades for it. Infinix also pointed out that the Note 60 Ultra comes with two-way global satellite communication, allowing users to call and text even in remote areas with no cellular coverage.

As for its display, the Note 60 Ultra comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display pushing a 2644 by 1208 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 4,500nits and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 7i over it. Keeping the lights on meanwhile is a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging and reverse charging support.

One last thing to point out is that the 30W magnetic wireless charger for those who pre-order is actually shaped like a car. Well, technically the charging puck itself is a standard shape, but the housing for it is shaped just like what a car designed by Pininfarina would look like.
