Infinix HOT30 Series Offers High Quality Mobile Gaming at only RM599
The Infinix HOT 30 Series is the newest kid on the block in the mobile gaming scene. They consist of the HOT 30 and HOT 30i, both of which will play successor to last year’s HOT 20 and HOT 20i.
With better processors and an improved fast charging, the Infinix HOT 30 series looks set to compete in the entry-level mobile gaming smartphone arena.
The official pricing of the Infinix HOT 30 (8GB+128GB) is RM599, while the Infinix HOT 30i (4GB+128GB) is priced at RM399.
However, there will be a promo from the 14th of April to the 17th of April where both the HOT 30 and HOT 30i will receive a RM50 price slash.

Infinix HOT30 Specs
As mentioned earlier, the Infinix HOT 30 is primarily a gaming smartphone catered to enthusiastic mobile gamers on a shoestring budget. It was made in collaboration with Garena’s battle royale game, Free Fire. As such, it will come with Free Fire themed wallpapers and ringtones.
It packs the MediaTek Helio G88 processor reputable for smooth gaming performance. For memory, you’ll have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If that’s not enough, storage is expandable up to 1TB via external memory, and you’ll also have another 8GB of Extended RAM.
The Infinix HOT 30 is fitted with a decent 6.78-inch 1080x2460p display for immersive gaming, with up to 90Hz refresh rate.
The HOT 30 shares the same 5,000mAh battery as last year’s HOT 20. However, Infinix has made solid improvements in the charging department with the HOT 30 now supporting 33W fast charge. This proves to be a much-welcomed upgrade from the 18W on the HOT20.
According to Infinix, you’re now able to go 0-55% in just 30 minutes on the HOT 30.
For an entry-level device, Infinix does a great job in inserting a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP punch hole selfie camera.
Other noteworthy mentions include the dual stereo speakers and a 3.5mm jack.
For colours, you’ll have the choice between Sonic White, Surfing Green, and Racing Black.
Alternatively, you could opt for the slightly tuned down HOT 30i. The HOT 30i comes with 4GB of RAM, which goes up another 4GB with Extended RAM. For storage, you’ll have a solid 128GB.
The HOT 30i maintains the 5,000mAh battery, albeit with a slightly lesser 18W fast charging. Although its display is smaller at 6.6-inches, you will still get the smooth 90Hz refresh rate.
You will also miss out on the 50MP rear camera. Instead, you’ll get a dual 13MP camera at the rear, and an 8MP front camera.
The Infinix HOT 30i utilizes a Unisoc T606 processor.
