Infinix HOT 40 Series now available in Malaysia; Price starts RM699
Infinix’s latest edition of the HOT series has landed in Malaysia, with the HOT 40 Pro and HOT 40i now available for purchase. The official pricing of the devices are as listed below:
- Infinix HOT 40 Pro (8GB/256GB) – RM699
- Infinix HOT 40i (8GB/256GB) – RM549
Interested buyers can do so at Infinix Authorised Dealers nationwide; or order online at Infinix official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
There will be a first sale promo exclusively for the Pro variant with all purchases from Lazada coming with an Edifier X25 TWS earbuds (while stocks last), while purchases from TikTok Shop will entitle you to a limited edition Free Fire phone case instead.
In regards to specs, the HOT 40 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM with the option to pile on an additional 8GB via Extended RAM, and 256GB of storage.
The device sports a 6.78″ FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rates, and it gets dual cameras consisting of a 108MP main shooter and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera, on the other hand, is 32MP in punch-hole format.
As for the HOT 40i, this is the smaller variant with a 6.56″ display with HD+ (720p) resolution and up to 90Hz refresh rates. Infinix did not specify the processor used, only that it was an octa-core chipset. Like its costlier sibling, it comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, with the former expandable to 16GB with Extended RAM.
The HOT40i comes with dual 50MP cameras, and a 32MP front camera.
Both the HOT 40 Pro and HOT 40i packs a 5,000mAh battery, the difference coming in charging speeds with the Pro variant getting up to 33W, and the non-Pro sibling with only 18W.
