Huawei’s new smartwatch lineup includes the RM13,999 Huawei Watch Ultimate Design
Alongside the Huawei Mate X7, the Chinese giant has also launched their latest wearables in Malaysia. The highlight of the bunch is almost certainly the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design, with its whopping RM13,999 price tag. Those who do get one will also get RM2,192 in free gifts, which include 2 years of Huawei Care and 3 months of Huawei Health.
This luxury smartwatch unsurprisingly is their most high end wearable yet, blending rare metals and diving capabilities into a showpiece that sits on your wrist. The case itself is built out of purple ceramic with 18K gold inlays and 24K gold characters, complete with zirconium-based liquid metal. That gets complemented by a purple and gold titanium strap as well as a sapphire glass crystal over the 1.5-inch AMOLED display.
The Huawei Watch Ultimate Design does offer some diving-focused features too, with 150m deep water resistance and support for messaging between watches over a distance of 30m underwater. That’s on top of the various other health trackers, eSIM connectivity and dual-frequency GNSS positioning. As for battery life, you can expect up to 11 days in power saver mode and up to 4.5 days of typical use.
New Huawei Watch GT 6 series options
As for the other new wearables, the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro now has a new special edition in collaboration with Japanese golf brand HONMA. Coming in a black and gold golf-themed design, it will also feature a special collection gift box that has a golden golf ball too. It’s priced at RM1,299 and comes with free gifts worth up to RM89 which include 2 months of Huawei Watch Face membership and 3 months of Huawei Health.
Lastly, the regular Huawei Watch GT 6 41mm has been refreshed with a new Milanese strap design that you can get in either gold or black. Getting this version of the Watch GT 6 will set you back RM1,199 compared to the regular model that starts at RM999.
Additionally, Huawei is giving its wearable users extra benefits worth up to RM2,248. These include 10% SPayLater purchases capped at RM150, 14-days free trial at Celebrity Fitness and Fitness First, as well as two dozen HONMA D1 golf balls for RM159 at MST Golf exclusively for users of the HONMA x Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro.
