The HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 Lets You Dive 150m and Communicate Underwater with Sonar
Alongside the WATCH GT 6 Series, HUAWEI has also unveiled the WATCH Ultimate 2, the brand’s high-end adventure smartwatch for outdoor enthusiasts. In many ways, it is HUAWEI’s equivalent to the Apple Watch Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra.
It does have an advantage, however. The WATCH Ultimate 2 is EN13319 certified, meaning the watch supports diving to depths of up to 150 meters, outperforming both Apple’s and Samsung’s adventure offerings. Additionally, the Ultimate 2 features sonar-based underwater communication, allowing divers to send preset messages to dive buddies within a 30-meter range. An underwater SOS function has also been integrated, supporting a maximum range of 60 meters.
In line with adventure watches, the Ultimate 2 boasts a rugged case crafted from zirconium-based liquid metal, refined with a dual-color nanocrystal ceramic bezel and sapphire glass protection.
HUAWEI claims up to 11 days of battery life with light use, and up to 6 days with typical use. Its Sunflower Positioning System has also been upgraded for more precise route tracking. For emergencies, features such as Fall Detection and Emergency SOS provide an added layer of security when needed.
In terms of health tracking, the watch’s TruSense system is supported by the X-TAP sensor, which debuted on the WATCH 5. The X-TAP sensor enables deeper insights into key health metrics, including SpO2 monitoring, heart rate tracking, and sleep tracking. The watch also supports eSIM, allowing for independent calls.
In tandem with HUAWEI’s other watches, the Ultimate 2 also includes Golf Course Mode. However, this time, it’s upgraded to feature 17,000 zoomable global golf course maps, along with pro-level insights such as slope-adjusted distances and trajectory replay.

The WATCH Ultimate 2 will be available in Black and Blue, with the Black model priced at RM3,499 and the Blue model retailing at RM3,999. It is now available for pre-order at HUAWEI Experience Stores, as well as on HUAWEI’s official website and the brand’s official platforms on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
Early buyers will receive free gifts worth RM1,305, including a pair of HUAWEI FreeClip Buds, 2 years of HUAWEI Care+, and 3 months of HUAWEI Health+ membership.
