HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Series Is an Apple Watch Ultra Lookalike That Won’t Break the Bank
After teasing the first look, we can finally lift the veil off the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Series. As reported earlier, the series introduces two new models: the FIT 4 and FIT 4 Pro – the latter being the first Pro model in the series.
As mentioned in our first-look article, the FIT 4 Series bears an uncanny resemblance to the Apple Watch Ultra. The FIT 4 Pro, in particular, sports similar dial and button placement as the Watch Ultra. That being said, the FIT 4 Pro is its own watch, with a much friendlier price tag that would appeal to those who fancy the Watch Ultra’s form factor.
Getting into it, the WATCH FIT 4 Pro weighs just 30.4 grams and features slim 9.3mm bezels. The bezels are made from titanium alloy, while the body is aluminum. You also get Sapphire glass protecting the 1.82″ AMOLED display, which supports peak brightness up to 3,000nits.
The FIT 4 Pro comes with a decent selection of straps, including black and blue options made of fluroelastomer, and a green strap made of woven nylon.
As for the standard WATCH FIT 4, it weighs just 27 grams but has a slightly bulkier 9.5mm body. It retains the same 1.82″ AMOLED display but lacks the Sapphire glass and has a lower peak brightness of up to 2,000nits.
There are more strap colours to choose from. Specifically, the black, purple, and white straps are made of fluroelastomer, while the grey option is made of woven nylon.
When it comes to health metrics, the FIT 4 Series supports over 100 workout modes, including mountain climbing and skiing. It also features a Freedive Mode that allows you to dive up to 40 metres, along with Golf Mode and Trail Run. On that note, HUAWEI promises that the Sunflower Positioning System improves GNSS tracking accuracy by 30%.
Other than that, you’ll have the standard health tracking measurements on either devices. These include heart rate monitoring, SpO2, stress, sleep patterns, and emotional wellbeing. The FIT 4 Pro exclusively features ECG functionality that records the heart’s electrical activity.
Moreover, the FIT 4 Series now allows users to reply to WhatsApp messages directly from the watch using a full keyboard pop-up. It also supports Touch ‘n Go QR payments and NFC access cards.
HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Series price in Malaysia
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro officially retails at RM999 in Malaysia, while the WATCH FIT 4 starts at RM599 for the black, white, and purple models with fluroelastomer strap, and RM699 for the grey model with woven nylon.
Pre-order starts on 22 May 2025, and will last until 30 May 2025. During this period, customers will receive free gifts worth up to RM156, including a HUAWEI weighing scale and 3 months of HUAWEI Health+ membership.
