HUAWEI Pura 70 series specs

The Pura 70 Series is distinguishable from its triangular camera module. HUAWEI calls this the ‘Forward Symbol Design’, which in some ways resembles the ‘play’ button.

Leading the line-up is the Pura 70 Ultra. This is the fully spec-ed out model, and the only one in the series with a vegan leather back panel available in Green, Brown, and Black. The phone runs on the Kirin 9010 chipset, with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage to boot. It sports a 6.8″ LTPO OLED display with adaptive refresh rates from 1-120Hz, as well as 2,500nits of peak brightness; all these protected under a layer of Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass.

At the rear panels you’ll find a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP retractable main camera backed by a 1-inch CMOS sensor, a 40MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP macro telephoto.

The Pura 70 Ultra has the largest battery in the series with a 5,200mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.

Onto the middle sibling, the Pura 70 Pro shares the same Kirin 9010 chipset as the Ultra variant, with a 12GB/512GB configuration. Displays are also similar with a 6.8″ LTPO OLED, 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rates, and 2,500nits peak brightness. It loses out on vegan leather, instead opting for a more polished metallic finish available in either White or Black.

You won’t find retractable cameras here, but its setup is still decent with a 50MP main camera, a 12.5MP ultra-wide, and a 48MP macro telephoto supporting 35x macro zoom.

Keeping the Pura 70 Pro running is a 5,050mAh battery, with the option of 100W wired charging or 80W wireless.

On the other hand, the base model Pura 70 is the smallest in the series, but only by a hairline. This model sports a 6.6″ LTPO OLED display, with the same 1-120Hz refresh rates and 2,500nits peak brightness found on the other two models.

You’ll see a change of processors here with the Pura 70 running on the Kirin 9000S1 instead, helped by 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has the smallest battery in the series with a 4,900mAh battery, but it still has speedy 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

For cameras, you’ll still have a 50MP main lens and a 13MP ultra-wide, but the third option is replaced with a 12MP telephoto this time.

The Pura 70 is available in Pink, White, and Black.
