The battle to claim top spot on the flagship podium continues with the arrival of the HUAWEI P60 Pro in Malaysia. The P60 Pro had its official launch in China early this year. Today, HUAWEI hopes to find success as they bring the P60 Pro to our shores.

The HUAWEI P60 Pro is available for pre-order from 11th May until 19th May on the HUAWEI online Store and on HUAWEI’s official Lazada and Shopee store. You may also put down pre-orders at selected HUAWEI Experience Stores.

Pre-orders will come with free gifts, however it will differ slightly based on whether you’ve ordered via physical store or online. Pre-orders from HUAWEI Experience Stores will entitle you to a pair of free HUAWEI Eyewear, while online pre-orders will get you a complimentary HUAWEI Matepad SE WiFi (4+64GB).

You will get HUAWEI Mobile Cloud and 3 month screen protection either way.

As for the pricing in Malaysia, the HUAWEI P60 Pro (8GB+256GB) will officially retail at RM4,699, while the larger P60 Pro (12GB+512GB) will retail at RM5,499.

HUAWEI P60 Pro Specs

From design alone, the HUAWEI P60 Pro ticks all the stylish elements needed for a flagship to stand out. It comes in two designs, the spotlight of which falls on the glimmering Rococo Pearl with its smooth pearl-textured design. If you’re interested in something less showy, the Black option with anti-fingerprint sand glass will fit just as well.

HUAWEI’s venture into their own mobile camera imaging technology is proving to be a worthwhile investment. Just recently, the HUAWEI P60 Pro took the #1 spot on the DxOMark rankings for the best smartphone camera globally.

The merit was undoubtedly earned through its breakthrough Ultra-Lighting XMAGE Camera, which brings to the table upgrades surrounding a redesigned optical system and an RYYB SuperSensing sensor. All this adds up to improved low-light performance and higher dynamic range, among other upgrades.

Furthermore, the P60 Pro will have an adjustable aperture ranging from f/1.4 – f/4.0 on its 48MP main camera, giving mobile photographers the flexibility to achieve crisp landscape shots, or creamy bokeh portraits.

The co-stars of the triple camera setup is a 48MP telephoto camera with a large f/2.1 aperture – the largest on a mobile periscope telephoto camera; – and a 13MP ultra-wide.

Both the main camera and telephoto camera supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

Cameras aside, the HUAWEI P60 Pro will run on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. You will have the choice of two memory options, an 8GB+256GB version and a 12GB+512GB version.

You will have a 6.67″ Quad-Curved LTPO display with adaptive refresh rates from 1Hz – 120Hz. This is protected under the highly durable Kunlun glass. It is also IP68 water and dust resistant.

One other highlight of the HUAWEI P60 Pro is its 4,815mAh battery with a speedy 88W SuperCharge. It also supports 50W wireless SuperCharge should you wish to go cable-less.

Once again, the HUAWEI P60 Pro is priced starting from RM4,699 for the 8GB+256GB version, and RM5,499 for the 12GB+512GB version. Pre-order starts today at HUAWEI Experience Stores, HUAWEI online stores, and on HUAWEI’s official Shopee and Lazada pages.
