HUAWEI nova 11 Series now available in Malaysia; price starts RM1,299
The HUAWEI nova 11 Series has officially touched down in Malaysia. The triple line-up consists of the nova 11 Pro, the nova 11, and the nova 11i.
It will be available nationwide from the 7th July onwards across all HUAWEI Experience Stores, HUAWEI’s Official Website, HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, and HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada.
The official pricing for each model in the series are:
- nova 11 Pro (8GB+256GB), RM2,599
- nova 11 (8GB+256GB), RM2,199
- nova 11i (8GB+256GB), RM1,299
HUAWEI nova 11 Pro specs
The headliner of the series is of course the nova 11 Pro. The device is easily distinguishable from its other two siblings, as this is the only model with a vegan leather back panel. Not only does this lend a premium look to the device, it also feels great to the touch and grips firmly in your palms.
Much emphasis have been placed on the nova 11 Pro’s camera. Undoubtedly so, since it’s one of the rare phones to have dual front camera. This consist of a 60MP ultra-wide AF lens, and an 8MP portrait lens.
Its rear cameras on the other hand is a 50MP Ultra Vision main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide.
Photo abilities aside, the nova 11 Pro sports a 6.78″ OLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rates. All this is protected under sturdy Kunlun Glass. You will get the best of charging capabilities with 100W SuperCharge Turbo juicing up the 4,500mAh battery.
For CPU, the nova 11 Pro will utilize the Snapdragon 778G, with EMUI 13 OS out the box.
You have the choice of either Green or Black.
HUAWEI nova 11
Onto the base model nova 11, this loses the premium vegan leather touch as well as dual front facing cameras.
Instead, it keeps to a single 60MP ultra-wide portrait lens at the front. At the rear, it keeps to a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP Ultra Vision main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide.
Displays on the nova 11 are a shade smaller at 6.7″, but it does maintain the OLED and 120Hz refresh rates.
Similarly the nova 11 Pro, the nova 11 will utilize the Snapdragon 778G processor and the same 4,500mAh battery. Charging is reduced, but still speedy at 66W.
You will have the same theme of colours with Green and Black offerings.
HUAWEI nova 11i
The nova 11i is the much toned down version of the series.
Its front camera are modest in relative to its siblings, keeping only to a 16MP single selfie camera.
You will still have dual rear cameras, albeit with only a 48MP High-Res main camera, paired with a 2MP depth camera.
It has the largest battery capacity in the series at 5,000mAh, although charging speeds is the slowest at 40W.
The nova 11i will utilize Snapdragon 680.
You have the choice of either Mint Green or Starry Black.
