HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” Launching in Malaysia with RM2,045 in Free Gifts

HUAWEI has officially announced that its MatePad Pro 12.2”, a new addition to its tablet lineup, will be launched in Malaysia on 18 June 2025. The tablet is described as a 3-in-1 PC-level device aimed at users looking for productivity and portability in a single form factor.

One of the main highlights of the MatePad Pro 12.2” is its Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display. It offers a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits and is certified by both SGS and TÜV Rheinland for eye comfort, indicating reduced glare and enhanced usability for long periods of screen time. The screen also supports stylus input.

In terms of software, the MatePad Pro 12.2” will come pre-installed with the PC-level WPS Office Suite, which includes tools for document editing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Full hardware specifications such as the processor, memory configurations, and camera setup will be announced during the official launch event.

The MatePad Pro 12.2” will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from 9 to 17 June 2025. Interested customers can place a RM50 deposit at the official HUAWEI store. Those who pre-order will receive complimentary gifts worth RM2,045, including the HUAWEI M-Pencil, HUAWEI Mouse, HUAWEI Backpack, HUAWEI SoundJoy 2 speaker, and a full version of the WPS Office Suite.

Additionally, early birds will be entitled to a RM100 voucher, which is redeemable both online and in-store.
