HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) Launches in Malaysia with PaperMatte Display
HUAWEI Malaysia has introduced the 2025 edition of the MatePad Pro 12.2”, aiming to deliver a tablet experience that blends portability with productivity. The new MatePad continues to feature the PaperMatte Display, designed to simulate a paper-like feel for more comfortable writing and reading.
The display has been upgraded to a 12.2-inch Tandem OLED panel with a 2.8K resolution and a high 144Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals. It supports HDR and is certified by TÜV Rheinland and SGS for eye comfort, signalling a focus on extended use without excessive eye strain.
For users looking for a more laptop-like experience, the MatePad Pro 12.2” supports the new HUAWEI Glide Keyboard. This detachable keyboard includes a slot for the stylus, making it easier to store and carry. The tablet also comes with the WPS Office suite pre-installed, catering to productivity needs such as document editing and presentations.
To support multitasking, HUAWEI has included features like Smart Multi-Window and Live-Multitask, which allow users to run up to three apps at the same time on screen. Powering the device is a 10,100mAh battery, which HUAWEI claims can deliver up to 14 hours of usage and reach full charge in around 55 minutes.
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) is priced at RM3,599 and is now available for pre-order through HUAWEI Experience Stores, the official HUAWEI website, as well as HUAWEI’s online platforms on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
Customers who place a RM50 deposit during the pre-order period will be eligible for a rebate of up to RM200 and receive exclusive free gifts worth up to RM2,045. These include the M-Pencil (3rd Gen), HUAWEI Mouse, HUAWEI Backpack, HUAWEI SoundJoy speaker, and a PC-level version of WPS Office.
