HUAWEI Confirms Malaysian Launch for MatePad 11.5” PaperMatte Edition

HUAWEI has confirmed the Malaysian launch of the 2025 MatePad 11.5” PaperMatte Edition, continuing its PaperMatte display series that we previously experienced first-hand when reviewing the MatePad 12X. The new tablet features an 11.5-inch PaperMatte screen with a 2.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness. According to HUAWEI, the display reduces reflections by up to 60% compared to standard panels, aiming to improve visibility in bright conditions.

The device measures 6.1mm in thickness and weighs 515g, and will be offered in Violet and Space Gray finishes. Power comes from a 10,100mAh battery, supporting 40W wired charging and wireless charging.

For productivity, the MatePad 11.5” PaperMatte Edition comes preloaded with PC-level WPS Office and supports the floating Multi-Window feature. It is also compatible with the HUAWEI M-Pencil, catering to note-taking and drawing needs.

The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5” PaperMatte Edition will be available in Malaysia soon. Pre-orders run from 12 to 18 August 2025. Customers can place a RM50 deposit online or RM100 deposit at physical stores. Pre-orders are available at HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide, the HUAWEI official website, and HUAWEI’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
