HUAWEI Unveils FreeBuds 6 with ANC and 36-Hour Playback; Priced at RM699
Alongside the launch of the MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025), HUAWEI also introduced the FreeBuds 6, the latest addition to its line of open-fit wireless earbuds. These earbuds stand out with a distinct curved design that the company says allows for a more natural and comfortable fit. HUAWEI notes that the FreeBuds 6 are 12% smaller than the previous generation and weigh just 4.9 grams each.
The FreeBuds 6 features a dual-driver setup, including an 11mm dual-magnetic driver paired with Bass Turbo 2.0 technology. These aim to deliver improved bass performance despite the open-fit design. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is also supported, with HUAWEI claiming it can suppress up to 95dB of ambient sound for clearer audio during calls.
The earbuds are available in three colours — Purple, White, and Black — and support dual-device connection for seamless switching between devices like smartphones, tablets, and PCs. HUAWEI has also introduced motion-based controls: users can nod to answer a call or shake their head to reject it, offering a hands-free experience in specific situations.
Battery life is rated at up to 36 hours of total music playback with the charging case, and a quick 5-minute charge provides up to 2.5 hours of listening time.
The HUAWEI FreeBuds 6 will be officially available in Malaysia starting 24 June 2025 at a retail price of RM699. Customers can purchase it from HUAWEI Experience Stores, the official HUAWEI website, as well as HUAWEI’s online platforms on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
As part of the launch promotion, buyers will receive free gifts worth RM327 with every purchase, available while stocks last.
