HP OMEN and VICTUS 2023 lineup unveiled at HP Future Ready

The HP Future Ready event saw a slew of new products set to launch in 2023, including additions to the OMEN and VICTUS gaming series.

The VICTUS series, which HP touts as a beginner-friendly gaming laptop, will comprise of two models of the VICTUS 16. Both models are 16.1″, with Full HD resolution and 144Hz refresh rates. The main difference between the two being the choice of either a 13th Gen Intel Core processor or an AMD Ryzen 7 7000 Series processor. For graphics, you’ll have a GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.

The OMEN series, on the other hand, will have two OMEN 16 offerings. Similarly, you will have the choice of either a 13th Gen Intel Core processor, or an AMD Ryzen 9 7000 Series processor. For graphics, the OMEN 16 offer a GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. The OMEN series offers the premium in gaming specs, with a 16.1″ QHD display and 240Hz refresh rates.

Additionally, HP has added a new sibling to the series: the new OMEN Transcend 16, with a 16.1″ mini-LED screen with 240Hz refresh rates, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It boasts the 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor or an AMD Ryzen 9 processor.

As for pricing in Malaysia, the VICTUS 16 Series starts at RM4,149; while the OMEN 16 Series starts at RM6,899. Both series are available for purchase today, barring the OMEN Transcend 16, which will make its way to Malaysia in August with a starting price of RM10,999.
