How Much Money Have You Spent on Steam? Here’s An Easy Way to Find Out the Exact Amount
Have you ever wondered how much money you have spent on Steam? I’m sure many of you gamers out there have a good number of games in your library that have remained untouched since the day it was purchased. I’m also certain that it’s hard to keep track of your expenditure when you consider that some friends may have gifted you some games or you might have purchased a game during Steam Sales.
A lot of online tools will only give you an estimate as it doesn’t usually account for discounts, gifts, and or DLC / add-on purchases. Not to mention, the fact that you have to sign in to the tool using your Steam account could cause some level of stress in case of any potential data breaches. With our method, you don’t have to give anyone your login credentials and you’ll know the exact amount you’ve spent right down to the cent.
How to Find Out How Much You’ve Spent on Steam?
- Open your Steam app on PC (Mac or Windows, signed-in)
- On the top bar, click on Help > Steam Support
- Scroll down and click on My Account
- Find and click “Data Related to Your Steam Account
- Finally, click on “External Funds Used”
From here, you’d be able to find your total expenditure on Steam up to a certain date, which should be rather recent to the date you’ve opened to check. In case you’re confused as to which one, it’s the row that says “Total Spend”. In my case, I’ve spent about $600, which is about RM2,600.
