Hotlink prepaid Unlimited Internet Plus gets speed upgrade; Discounts for Malaysians aged below 24

Hotlink has announced upgrades to its Unlimited Internet Plus prepaid pass. The new prepaid plans sees improvements in internet speed alongside larger Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limits.

Here’s a rundown of what users can expect under Hotlink’s new Unlimited Internet Plus:

• RM50/month: Unlimited internet with 12Mpbs; FUP of 100GB, Unlimited calls, Unlimited hotspot
• RM40/month: Unlimited internet with 6Mpbs; FUP of 80GB, Unlimited calls, Unlimited hotspot

Should you exceed the FUP limit, you will still be able to surf the internet, albeit at a reduced 512kbps.

To sweeten the deal further, Hotlink is also offering discounts to Malaysians below 24 years of age.

Those who meet the criteria will see prices for the originally RM50/month plan drop to RM40; and the RM40/month plan drop to RM32. Users in this bracket will also receive 20% cashback vouchers, which Hotlink says can be utilized for the next monthly internet pass purchase.

Additionally, Hotlink also mentions in its FAQ page that the 20% cashback voucher is eligible for those who register at Hotlink/Maxis dealers in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Sarawak, Sabah, and Labuan.

This extends also to the Pantas 20GB Fast Internet and Pantas 40GB Fast Internet passes.

You can redeem the cashback vouchers on the Hotlink app – after the purchase of any of the eligible pass (see table above). When it’s time for your next monthly purchase, simply tap on ‘Select Voucher’ to redeem your desired cashback vouchers; after which you can proceed to complete your purchase.
