HONOR introduces new Pad V9 and Pad X9a LTE; Free keyboard for early buyers

HONOR has introduced the new Pad V9 tablet to the Malaysian market, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Elite processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This tablet includes an 11.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800×1840, supports a refresh rate of 144Hz, and offers DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

In terms of design, the Pad V9 weighs 475g and has a thickness of 6.1mm. Despite its slim form factor, it manages to fit a 10,100mAh battery in its chassis, while audio is handled through an 8-speaker setup that supports spatial audio. The Pad V9 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The tablet is available in White and Gray.

HONOR also unveiled a new LTE variant of the Pad X9a, which expands on the Wi-Fi-only model launched earlier. The LTE version is powered by a Snapdragon 685 4G processor and comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For the record, the existing Wi-Fi model offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Both variants feature an 11.5-inch LCD with a resolution of 2508×1504 and are equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The Wi-Fi model weighs 475g, while the LTE version weighs slightly more at 480g. Each is backed by an 8,300mAh battery.

Connectivity support includes Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, with the tablet only offered in Gray.

HONOR Pad V9 and Pad X9a price in Malaysia

The HONOR Pad V9 will be available from 11 April onwards with a retail price of RM1,999. Early buyers will enjoy early bird gifts worth RM898, including an HONOR Touchpad Keyboard and HONOR Magic Pencil 3.

Meanwhile, the newly introduced LTE variant of the HONOR Pad X9a will retail at RM1,299, but will only be available for purchase from 25 April. Likewise, early bird incentives are available with free gifts totaling RM598. This include a free Bluetooth keyboard, an HONOR CHOICE Pencil, and a 3-month VIP subscription to iQIYI.

Interested buyers can put in their orders for the tablets at HONOR’s official online platforms, including the brand’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada.

    HONOR releases refreshed MagicBook X14 in Malaysia; Priced at RM2,499

    The latest HONOR MagicBook X14 has arrived in Malaysia. The latest addition to the MagicBook series boasts the Intel Core i5-13420H processor, supported by Intel UHD Graphics. In Malaysia, the laptop comes in a single 8GB LPDDR4x and 512GB SSD configuration.

    In terms of display, the MagicBook X14 sports a 14″ 16:10 IPS panel with 1920×1200 resolution, along with TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certification. Situated at the top bezel is the 720p HD webcam for video conferencing.

    According to HONOR, you’ll get sufficient runtime out of the built-in 42Wh battery, allowing the laptop up to 8.5 hours of 1080p playback. When it is time to plug in, the 65W Supercharger is capable of juicing up the laptop to its full 100% in 83 minutes.

    When it comes to I/O ports, there’s a decent array to rely on, including one HDMI port, two USB-A 3.2 port, and one USB-C port. Where connectivity is concern, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1

    The HONOR MagicBook X14 will be available from 11 April onwards. It officially retails at RM2,499 in Malaysia, with free gifts totaling RM508 for early birds; this includes a Microsoft 365 1-year subscription and a backpack.
