Triple Camera System
The Magic8 Pro features a triple camera setup: a 200MP telephoto camera with 1/1.4-inch sensor, f/2.6 aperture, OIS, and 3.7x optical zoom; a 50MP main camera with 1/1.3-inch sensor and f/1.6 aperture; and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with 122° field of view and 2.5cm macro capability. The device includes CIPA 5.5-level image stabilization and has been selected as official photography equipment for Tourism Malaysia’s Visit Malaysia 2026.
Battery and Charging
The device contains a massive 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 100W wired charging (full charge in 47 minutes) and 80W wireless charging. During the media event, Honor showed a comparison of the battery life against an iPhone 17 Pro Max and the Magic8 Pro outlasted the Apple device by more than 15%!

The Magic8 Pro screen can hit 6,000 nits peak brightness and uses 4320 Hz PWM dimming for low-flicker eye comfort. It has received TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 5.0 Certification and features NanoCrystal Shield glass with SGS Five-Star Drop-Test Certification.
Durability
The Magic8 Pro is the first flagship smartphone to achieve IP69K rating in addition to IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
IP69K is the highest level of protection against dust and water, specifically designed for devices that need to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
Processor
The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the most advanced and powerful chipset this year. Working with Qualcomm to achieve greater performance, the HONOR Magic8 Pro also introduces the industry’s first AI Rendering Separation technology, which boosts frame rates and smooths out visual performance while gaming.
