HONOR Magic V Flip2 Leaks Tip Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chip and New Purple Colourway

HONOR is set to unveil its latest clamshell foldable, the Magic V Flip2, in China on August 21. The company has confirmed that the device will feature a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, making it one of the largest batteries seen on a flip phone so far.
According to leaks, the Magic V Flip2 will sport a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED internal display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, it will carry a 4-inch LTPO cover screen, also running at Full HD+ and 120Hz.

Camera specifications are expected to be a highlight, with reports pointing to a 200MP primary sensor paired with a 50MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the device may include a 50MP front camera. Powering the phone will likely be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring flagship-level performance.

The Magic V Flip2 is also tipped to arrive in four color options, including a distinctive lavender purple variant. While HONOR has never brought its flip foldables to Malaysia—the company only recently introduced the book-style Magic V5—the launch of the Magic V Flip2 could mark a shift, especially as Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip7 and Xiaomi’s MIX Flip have already reached Malaysian shelves.
