Honor 60 Features and Key Highlights
The Honor 60 comes in four colours: blue, green, pink and black. It boasts a 6.67” 120Hz FHD+ OLED screen that can generate over a billion colours. It also has a standard dual-curve display on the left and right edges, unlike the quad-curved glass on the 60 Pro.
Moreover, it packs the same Snapdragon 778G as the Honor 50 and up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device also comes pre-installed with Android 11’s Magic UI 5.0 skin.
Camera-wise, the vanilla model has a 32MP selfie camera (F2.4) and sports a triple rear camera system. This includes a 108MP primary camera (F1.9), an 8MP ultrawide shooter (F2.2) and a 2MP depth sensor (F2.4).
The lack of a 2MP bokeh camera makes it a mild downgrade from the Honor 50’s quad-camera. Nevertheless, the Honor 60 series features a new set of gesture controls that lets you enable picture-in-picture mode or even toggle between the front and rear cameras with hand gestures!
Also, the phone houses a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging, an improvement over Honor 50’s 4,300mAh. There’s also a fingerprint scanner included in the display and NFC, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility.
Honor 60 Pro Features and Key Highlights
The Honor 60 Pro is available in the same four colours as the Honor 60. Its quad-curved display with all four edges curving for a smoother in-hand feel is undoubtedly the phone’s defining feature.
It features a 6.78″ 120Hz OLED display with a 1200 x 2652 resolution, making it a relatively large phone. It also supports HDR10+ and has a colour gamut of over a billion.
Under the hood, the 60 Pro runs the Snapdragon 778G+ SoC introduced in late October. Like the Honor 50 series that was the first to use the Snapdragon 778G, the 60 Pro is also the first to use the 778G+ edition.
The device comes with up to 12GB RAM, 256GB storage and is pre-installed with Android 11’s Magic UI skin. Along with NFC, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 connection, there’s also an under-display fingerprint scanner and dual speakers.
At the back, there’s a triple camera system with a 108MP primary camera (F1.9), a 50MP 122° ultrawide shooter (F2.2), and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone includes a 50MP front-facing camera. Additionally, the 60 Pro also comes with the previously mentioned camera gesture controls.
Aside from that, it has the same 4,800mAh battery with 66W rapid charging as the Honor 60. According to Honor, the battery can charge 50% in just 15 minutes. Despite its capability, the battery is actually a drop from the Honor 50 Pro that supports 100W fast charging.
