HONOR 400 Lite launches with AI Camera Button similar to Apple’s Camera Control

By PriceShop News April 28, 2025

HONOR Malaysia has announced the release of the HONOR 400 Lite. The device is available locally in a single variant featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra processor.

The HONOR 400 Lite features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution (2412×1080) pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,500nits. For imaging, the device is equipped with a 108MP main camera and a 5MP wide and depth camera, while the front houses a 16MP camera.

A dedicated AI Camera Button is included, allowing users to tap once to open the camera, tap again to take a photo, press and hold to record a video, and slide lightly to zoom. If you’re wondering where you’ve heard this from, it functions more or less the same way as Apple’s Camera Control button that debuted on the iPhone 16 series.

The device is built with a 5,230mAh battery that supports 35W wired charging. Additional features include IP65 dust and water resistance, a 1.8m rated drop resistance, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. It is available in two colours: Velvet Grey and Marrs Green.

Customers can also obtain the device through telco plans, with Yes 5G offering it from as low as RM5 per month, while Maxis and U Mobile are providing the device for free under the Maxis Postpaid 109 and U Family or U Postpaid plans, respectively.
