Honkai Star Rail Leak Hints at Upcoming Yearly Pass With Better Money-to-Stellar Jade Ratio

A recent leak has revealed that Honkai Star Rail may soon introduce a yearly pass, providing players with a steady stream of Stellar Jade at a discounted rate. Much like Primogems in Genshin Impact, Stellar Jade is the core premium currency in Honkai Star Rail, used primarily to summon characters through limited-time banners.
These banners represent HoYoverse’s main monetization model in Honkai Star Rail, as they encourage players to spend real money for a chance to acquire powerful and exclusive characters. Just recently, with the launch of Version 3.3, the game introduced a new limited banner titled A Rainbow onto Twilight, featuring the debut of the five-star character Hyacine.
Honkai Star Rail Yearly Pass Incoming?

Currently, the game offers a monthly subscription called the Express Supply Pass, which grants players 300 Oneiric Shards instantly and 90 Stellar Jade per day over 30 days. This pass can be repurchased as long as the active duration doesn’t exceed 180 days, making it a popular choice for players who want a consistent supply of Stellar Jade at a lower cost than direct purchases.
However, according to a trusted leaker known as Sakura Haven, Honkai Star Rail may soon introduce a yearly subscription option in Version 3.4. This new yearly pass is expected to function similarly to the monthly version but will extend benefits over 12 months. Notably, it’s rumored to offer a better cost-to-reward ratio, giving players even more Stellar Jade for their money.
The leak has sparked mostly positive reactions from fans, many of whom support the idea—as long as the existing monthly pass remains available. This addition would give both casual spenders and committed players flexible, discounted ways to collect Stellar Jade over time.
While no official pricing details have been confirmed, speculation suggests the yearly pass could cost around USD $50. If true, this would be equivalent to paying for ten months and receiving two months free, a pricing model commonly used for annual subscriptions. Some fans are also hoping that the pass will include a generous amount of Oneiric Shards upfront, potentially enough to unlock the highly anticipated Firefly skin.
As always, it’s important to treat these leaks with caution until HoYoverse provides an official announcement. Players eager to learn more should keep an eye out for the upcoming Honkai Star Rail Special Program broadcast, where more details about the rumored yearly pass may be revealed.
