Haier Malaysia unveils 2024 product lineup at ‘Inspire Future Dreams’ event
Haier Malaysia is set to march into 2024 with an updated catalogue of home appliances and consumer electronic products. The range of new products – which was unveiled at its ‘Inspire Future Dreams’ event – encompasses a broad range of categories including air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, water heaters, kitchen appliances, and more.
For 2024, Haier aims to integrate the spirit of ‘Smart Living’ by introducing products that can be controlled via Wi-Fi connection and the brand’s Haismart app. You will see this integrated into the new set of air conditioners – the UV Cool Premium (VXA) and UV Cool Smart (VRA). Both models have built-in Wi-Fi modules which allows users to control the air con remotely through the Haismart app.
Additionally, the air cons also have UVC sterilization technology that inhibits transmission of harmful airborne particles. They are certified to a 99.991% efficiency rate in removing SARS-CoV-2 by Texcell.
Following up is its new line of refrigerators, including the new 4-door refrigerator HRF-IM758LXG (B). Similarly, this model is compatible with the Haismart app, which grants control over various settings including temperature and mode. Alternatively, you may also adjust temperatures via the touchscreen panel on the refrigerator. To counter excess moisture, Haier has built a Humidity Control System (HCS) Plus technology to regulate humidity levels, allowing fruits and vegetables to remain fresher for longer periods.
The curtains were also lifted on the new BD14266S8 front load washing machine, and the BD2178S8 top load washing machine. The former is Wi-Fi compatible which allows users to control the washer anywhere inside the house, and comes with a Colour Ai display panel; while the top load model BD2178S8 is fitted with Auto Dosing tech, which automatically dispenses liquid detergent based on the wash cycle and load.
Alongside the products mentioned, Haier Malaysia revealed many more of its 2024 arrivals, including wine chillers, freezers, shower heaters, kitchen hoods and hobs, and OLED TVs.
The event also saw the partnership renewal between Haier Malaysia and men’s doubles national shuttlers Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik. The duo signed the agreement to be Haier Malaysia’s brand ambassador for 2024, making the 2022 BWF World Champions the face of Haier’s ‘Inspire Future Dreams’ campaign.
