Google Teases Pixel 10 Design Ahead of August Launch

By Timothy Teoh July 22, 2025

We are just about a month away from the next Made by Google event on August 20th, where Google is set to bring the Pixel 10 series into the spotlight. Unlike most brands, where design teasers are typically published in stages to build hype, Google has no qualms about pulling the curtains back completely on at least one model of the series.

It seems Google is not in the business of heightened anticipation as it was the brand itself that emblazoned the Pixel 10 phones in a 13-second clip on the official US Google online store. The clip shows the number 10, with the zero slowly elongating, eventually forming the iconic camera visor of a dark grey Pixel phone.

It’s unclear whether the model portrayed is the base or Pro version. In most cases, a phone with a triple camera system typically points toward a Pro model. However, leaked renders suggest that Google will bestow a third telephoto lens on the base Pixel model – potentially making it a more appealing offering than other base-model flagships out there (e.g., the iPhone 16).

This could perhaps be the most exciting upgrade to the Pixel 10. Design-wise, it doesn’t look like it will stray too far from the Pixel 9, with the upcoming models retaining the Robocop-like visor and sleek curved edges.

All this will be unveiled in due time, though—specifically on August 21st at 1 AM for us folks in Malaysia.
