Samsung Galaxy Tab S18 Ultra: Specs, Features, Release Date
It was leaked that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is available for pre-order from 9th February onwards with the official release date on 25th February 2022.
Claims were made that the tablet’s OS will be the Android 12, One U1 4.1 with the chipset Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 – the same chip as the Galaxy S22 models. Meanwhile, the CPU will be an Octa-core, while the GPU will be the Adreno 730.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is expected to have a microSD support of 1TB. It will also offer 8GB, 12 GB, or 16GB RAM and internal storage of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB.
The tablet is supposed to include an S Pen, an OLED display, and an optional full-sized keyboard. In addition, the S Pen is rumoured to have a low latency of 2.8 milliseconds, enabling smooth writing and drawing for the user.
Design and Display
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra’s dimensions are 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5mm. Meanwhile, the weight is 728g. Considering the thinness and lightness of the 14.6-inch tablet, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is considered incredibly light.
What’s more, the tablet’s screen uses the Super AMOLED technology with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The screen size is 14.6 inches with a resolution of 1848 x 2960 pixels, a 16:10 ratio.

What we’ve heard of the tablet’s rear camera is that it’s a dual-camera with 13 MP and f/2.0 and 6MP and f/2.2. Meanwhile, the front camera is also dual-camera with 12 MP and f/2.2, and 12MP and f/2.4.
Both cameras come in regular and ultra-wide lenses. Besides, it is rumoured that the front camera will be in a notched display design.
The rear camera also features LED flash, HDR, and panorama. While the front camera only features HDR. Lastly, the video for the rear and front cameras is 4K@30/60fps and 1080p@30fps.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra also comes with stereo speakers tuned by AKG. However, it does not come with a 3.5mm jack.
The tablet is equipped with sensors such as fingerprint, proximity, compass, accelerometer, gyro, and Wireless Samsung DeX.
Previous leaks suggest that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is equipped with an 11,200mAh battery, meaning we can expect fast-charging support. We can also expect the tablet to have an aluminium construction.
