Entry-level realme C75x launches in Malaysia

realme has introduced its latest budget-friendly smartphone in Malaysia, the realme C75x. Positioned as an entry-level device, the smartphone features a Helio G81 Ultra processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The realme C75x sports a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1604×720 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has a peak brightness of 625 nits in high brightness mode. Powering the device is a 5,600mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

The phone also emphasizes durability, featuring an IP66, IP68, and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. Additionally, it includes a SonicWave Ejection feature, which uses speaker vibrations to remove excess water from the device.

For added protection, realme has incorporated Military Grade Shock Resistance and ArmorShell Protection, providing 360° shock resistance. The device is built with a die-cast aluminum frame, further reinforcing its durability. The realme C75x is available in two color options: Coral Pink and Oceanic Blue.

The realme C75x is priced at RM599 and is available for purchase starting today. Consumers can find it at realme Brand Stores, authorized dealer stores, as well as online through realme’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

    Apple launches MacBook Air with M4 chip; Price starts at RM4,499

    Apple has launched a refreshed lineup of the MacBook Air with the upgraded M4 chip. The chip promises enhanced performance with a 10-core CPU, along with up to 10 GPU cores. Additionally, the laptop features up to 32GB of unified memory.

    According to Apple, the MacBook Air with the M4 chip performs 2x faster than the M1 model and a whopping 23x faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air.

    With the option of two display sizes – a 13-inch model and a 15-inch model, each with Liquid Retina displays – the Cupertino-based company is also introducing a new Sky Blue colour to the mix, joining the current Midnight, Starlight, and Silver options.

    Apple claims the revamped MacBook Airs will last up to 18 hours of battery life. With Apple Intelligence central to the brand’s ecosystem, the laptops will feature AI-powered tools such as Writing Tools, Image Playground, and Genmoji, as well as an improved Siri.

    Users who require extra screens will be happy to know that the laptop now supports up to two 6K external displays, allowing for seamless multi-display support.

    For connectivity, the MacBook Air with the M4 chip supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

    MacBook Air with M4 price in Malaysia

    The Apple MacBook Air with M4 chip will be available in Malaysia soon. At the time of writing, the new MacBook Air is still unavailable for online purchase.

    However, Apple Malaysia has confirmed that the 13-inch MacBook Air with the M4 chip will start at RM4,499 in Malaysia, while the 15-inch MacBook Air with the M4 chip will start at RM5,499.
