Edifier LolliClip Lands in Malaysia with Built-In Heart Rate and SpO2 Monitoring
Edifier has officially introduced the LolliClip earbuds to the Malaysian market. These wireless open-ear earbuds are designed with a curved ear hook that loops around the ear, similar in appearance to the HUAWEI FreeClip.
What sets the Edifier LolliClip apart is its built-in biometric sensors capable of measuring heart rate and blood oxygen levels. These readings are taken through pulse detection in the ear and displayed in the EDIFIER ConneX app after a 30-second scan.
However, users are advised that the device is not a certified medical product, and its data should not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment. This kind of health tracking is rare in wireless earbuds, previously seen in models like the Powerbeats Pro 2.
The earbuds also feature Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which adjusts based on surrounding noise levels, and they support Hi-Res Wireless Audio with the LDAC codec for higher-quality sound transmission. Each earbud houses a 14mm dynamic driver and a three-microphone setup for calls.
The LolliClip supports up to 9 hours of continuous playback, with a total of 39 hours available via the charging case. A quick 15-minute charge provides up to 3 hours of listening time.
Additional features include Wearing Detection, which auto-plays or pauses music based on whether the earbuds are worn, and multipoint connectivity via Bluetooth 5.4 to maintain connections with two devices simultaneously. The earbuds carry an IP56 rating, making them resistant to dust and water splashes.
The Edifier LolliClip is now available in Malaysia at a retail price of RM719. Consumers can purchase it in either Black or White colour options through Edifier’s official website and its Shopee and Lazada stores. As part of the launch promotion, the earbuds are currently priced at RM479 on Shopee and RM499 on Lazada for a limited time.
