Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene hard floor cleaner now in Malaysia, priced at RM2,499

Dyson has introduced its new Clean+Wash Hygiene wet and dry cleaner in Malaysia, adding to its growing lineup of home floor cleaning devices. The new model focuses on combining vacuuming and mopping in a single pass, while aiming to reduce maintenance issues typically associated with wet cleaners.

The Clean+Wash Hygiene uses a microfibre roller that can pick up dust, debris, hair, and liquid spills at the same time. According to Dyson, the roller spins at 250 RPM and features dense microfibre filaments along with embedded nylon bristles to help remove tougher dirt and stains. The system continuously feeds clean water onto the roller during use, which helps avoid spreading dirty water across the floor, while leaving a faster-drying and streak-free finish.

One of the key differences with this model is its filter-free system. Instead of separating debris through a filter, the machine keeps dirty water and solid waste contained within the cleaner head. This prevents internal clogging, reduces any smells left by trapped dirt and ensures it doesn’t suffer from performance drops over time, as well as having no dirty internal pipes to deep clean.

Weighing 3.82kg, the Clean+Wash Hygiene is among their lightest wet and dry cleaners. It also features a lie-flat design with a height of 113mm, allowing it to clean under low furniture. The cleaner supports three-sided edge cleaning, which helps reach areas along walls and skirting boards.

Other features of note include a self-cleaning cycle that flushes water into the system and dries it with hot air, adjustable water flow levels from its 750ml tank with a Boost mode and a claimed coverage of 350m² per tank.

The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene is now available for purchase via the Dyson Malaysia website as well as its retail stores nationwide, priced at RM2,499.
