DJI Enters 360 Camera Market With Osmo 360 Launch in Malaysia

By PriceShop News August 1, 2025

DJI Malaysia has officially launched the Osmo 360, the brand’s first-ever 360-degree action camera. Designed for both immersive spherical footage and traditional ultra-wide video, the Osmo 360 adds flexibility to DJI’s existing action camera lineup.

The Osmo 360 features dual 1-inch sensors capable of capturing up to 4K video at 100fps in full 360-degrees, while also offering high-resolution 360-degree photos at up to 120MP. Notably, it is the first 360 camera to support continuous recording at 8K resolution and 50fps. DJI also claims it is the only current 360 camera capable of recording non-stop in 8K/30fps for up to 100 minutes.

All video formats benefit from 10-bit colour depth and support D-Log M mode, allowing for wider dynamic range and more control in post-production. Outside of its 360 capabilities, the Osmo 360 can also switch to a single-lens mode. In this configuration, it acts as an ultra-wide action camera, capable of 5K/60fps flat video or 4K/120fps in Boost Video mode with a broader 170-degree field of view.

The device weighs 183g and includes HorizonSteady stabilisation for 360 footage, which corrects horizontal tilt and reduces shake across the spherical view. For single-lens shooting, RockSteady 3.0 offers further shake reduction.

For underwater use, the Osmo 360 is IP68-rated and can be submerged up to 10 metres without an additional case. The camera also supports OsmoAudio, which allows direct connection to two DJI microphone transmitters without requiring a receiver.
