Dell’s New Pro Max Series Offers High Performance for Light and Heavy Professional Use
Dell Technologies has launched its new Dell Pro Max high-performance laptop lineup in Malaysia, targeting engineers, designers, creators, and professionals working with AI or data-intensive tasks. The range includes multiple models across different performance levels, offering users options that suit both light workloads and complex computing needs.
The Dell Pro Max 14 and 16 Premium laptops are designed for professionals working in design, editing, and content creation. Both sizes are equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processors and NVIDIA RTX PRO 3000 Blackwell GPUs. The 16-inch variant offers a 4K Tandem OLED display, while both models come with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 1000 certification, enabling deeper blacks and improved contrast for visual work that requires colour accuracy.
The Dell Pro Max 16 and 18 Plus models are intended for users handling demanding workloads such as AI development, complex simulations, and large-scale data analysis. These laptops come in 16-inch and 18-inch sizes and are powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processors, paired with NVIDIA RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell GPUs. They support storage capacities of up to 16TB and include enhanced thermal management systems for better cooling during intensive use.
The Dell Pro Max 14 and 16 serve as the starting point in the Pro Max series. These laptops are designed for professionals handling lighter workloads, such as document processing, spreadsheets, and basic design tasks. Available in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, the 14-inch model weighs around 1.79kg and offers up to 18 hours of battery life, while the 16-inch model can last up to 20 hours. Configuration options include AMD Ryzen AI processors or up to Intel Core Ultra 9 285H chips with support for NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPUs. These systems are capable of running design software, managing large Excel files, and creating 2D or 3D models.
