COROS Unveils APEX 4 GPS Watch for Harsh Terrain and High-Altitude Performance
COROS has introduced the APEX 4, the latest GPS watch in its APEX series designed specifically for mountain athletes and outdoor endurance activities. This fourth-generation model brings upgrades in build quality, tracking accuracy, and navigation tools, aimed at users who train and compete in rugged terrain.
The APEX 4 features an alpine-grade design built with lightweight grade 5 titanium and reinforced lugs, offering enhanced durability without adding bulk. The front is protected by sapphire glass, while a Memory-In-Pixel (MIP) display ensures visibility in different lighting conditions—including direct sunlight, snow, and shaded trails.
To improve location tracking in challenging environments such as dense forests or steep mountain walls, the APEX 4 now includes enhanced Vertical GPS algorithms. This combines dual-frequency satellite tracking with a dual-range barometer to deliver more accurate positioning and elevation data.
Battery performance depends on the size selected. The 46mm model offers up to 65 hours of use in All-Systems GPS mode, while the 42mm version supports up to 41 hours in the same mode. Both models come preloaded with global topographic and landscape maps, complete with street names and turn-by-turn navigation that loads instantly.
The APEX 4 also supports voice and audio features. Users can receive audible alerts for pace and turns, record voice notes during activity, and even make hands-free calls—all built into the watch.
The COROS APEX 4 will be available in Malaysia starting 24 October at 8PM. The 42mm version is priced at RM2,099, while the 46mm version is priced at RM2,299. Both are available in black or white, and each comes with a silicone band.
Malaysian customers can purchase the watch through COROS Malaysia’s authorised dealers, as well as official online stores on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, or the PANGU Running website.
