CNY-themed Touch ‘n Go Card and Charm now available in stores
Touch ‘n Go are all in with the festivities with the release of its CNY-themed NFC card and charm. These are limited edition, and are inspired by the Chinese New Year’s official zodiac: the Dragon.
In-line with the symbolic red hues of Chinese New Year, the NFC card comes in a deep red colour, featuring a gold dragon motif at the centre. This dragon-themed NFC card from Touch ‘n Go will cost RM25, and is available at Touch ‘n Go Malaysia’s official shopee store. It wasn’t too long ago that the company released the exclusive LUXE Card at the same price.
Regardless of the designs, all Touch ‘n Go NFC cards function the same way as the RM10 versions. You’ll be able to use it for highway tolls, parking sites, and public transportation, and is reloadable via Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
On a similar note, Touch ‘n Go has also released CNY-themed charms based off the dragon. The limited edition charm features a red smiling dragon with a gold sycee upon its lap. The charm is priced at RM30, purchasable on Touch ‘n Go’s official Shopee store.
Despite the varying form factors, Touch ‘n Go charms function the same way as NFC cards. You’ll be able to use them for tolls, parking, and public transportation. Likewise, they are reloadable via Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
