CMF to launch Phone 2 Pro and three new ear buds on 28 April

Nothing sub brand CMF has just announced 28 April 2025 as the slated date for the unveiling of the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Specifically, the launch will air at 9PM Malaysia Time.

Alongside the CMF Phone 2 Pro, the brand will also introduce new audio products to its lineup, namely the Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Pro. Not much has been teased, except perhaps that the Phone 2 Pro will maintain the modular concept of the CMF Phone 1, this speculation derived from a snippet of a close up of what looked to be a screw similar in looks to the Phone 1.

As for the buds, well, it looks like we’re in for another round of confusion surrounding its naming conventions. To put it simply, the upcoming Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Pro will join the existing lineup consisting of the Buds Pro 2, Buds Pro, and Buds. Not only is there a new ‘a’ model, there’s also a ‘Plus’ model which the brand plans to debut.

Based on track record from its parent company, Nothing, the ‘a’ model will likely be the lite version of the base model, while the ‘Plus’ looks to be the series-topping variant.

Other than that, there’s not much to report at the time of writing, but you can probably more teasers to shuffle in on the brand’s official socials on Instagram and X.
