CMF Releases First-Ever Over-Ear Headphone Pro with Modular Design and 100-Hour Battery

By Timothy Teoh October 1, 2025

Nothing sub-brand CMF has launched its first pair of over-ear ANC headphones to bolster its audio line-up. CMF is no stranger to the audio scene, but its catalogue had previously only consisted of true wireless earbuds.

The CMF Headphone Pro features a modular design with swappable ear cushions that allow for colour customisation. The headphones themselves will be available in Light Grey, Dark Grey, and Light Green, with corresponding ear cushions. An ear cushion in the iconic CMF orange hue will also be available.

Audio-wise, the Headphone Pro is powered by custom 40mm nickel-plated drivers, which CMF says reduce distortion and enhance clarity. Additionally, the headphones support LDAC for high-fidelity Bluetooth audio up to 990kbps, along with dual Hi-Res certifications.

For controls, you’ll find a tactile roller that adjusts volume, ANC, and playback functions. This is akin to the roller found on the Nothing Headphone (1), which was released not too long ago. What’s unique here is an ‘Energy Slider’ that switches between varying levels of bass and treble for quick and instant adjustment. The headphones also feature a customizable button that can be set to access features such as Spatial Audio or AI functions.

The CMF Headphone Pro’s hybrid ANC offers up to 40dB of noise cancellation. With ANC on, you can expect 50 hours of playback on a single charge, with that number rising to 100 hours with ANC off. CMF says a 5-minute charge provides 4 hours of listening time, while a full recharge takes approximately 2 hours via USB-C.

CMF Headphone Pro price in Malaysia

The CMF Headphone Pro will retail at RM429 in Malaysia, with open sales beginning 13 October 2025 at Nothing.tech and Nothing’s official platforms on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. The headphones will also be available off the shelves at partnering retailers, including DirectD, TMT, Urban Republic, Vivid Concepts, TAC Mobile, SS Solution, and Nothing Image Store.
