CelcomDigi partners with JomCharge and chargEV to deploy 100 EV charging points in Malaysia

Telco provider CelcomDigi is partnering with JomCharge and Yinson GreenTech’s chargEV to deploy electric vehicle (EV) charging points across Malaysia.
Through this collaboration, CelcomDigi, along with JomCharge and chargEV, aims to install over 100 EV charging points in commercial and residential areas by the end of 2025. This includes locations such as shopping malls and public streets.
To reward CelcomDigi subscribers, customers who charge their vehicles at CelcomDigi-branded charge points nationwide can enjoy RM10 discounts on charging sessions. The discounts are redeemable through the Celcom Life and MyDigi apps and are valid from 1 March 2025 to 31 December 2025.
CelcomDigi’s Chief Innovation Officer, Kugan Thirunavakarasu, said, “Our commitment to make EV services more accessible aligns with our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives and climate goals, reinforcing our efforts to reduce carbon emissions and promote clean energy adoption in Malaysia.”
