CelcomDigi launches PhoneFIX repair subscription, from RM3/month

CelcomDigi has announced PhoneFIX, a new smartphone repair subscription for customers to fix common issues without paying high upfront repair costs.
PhoneFIX is available to both CelcomDigi prepaid and postpaid customers. Unlike traditional device protection plans, PhoneFIX is not limited to phones purchased from the telco. As long as the device is eligible and passes the required diagnostic checks, customers can enroll phones from most major brands, regardless of where they were bought.
The service is offered in collaboration with Swap Asia, which will handle repairs at authorised service centres using genuine or equivalent-quality parts. Each repair is also covered by a six-month warranty. The telco adds that PhoneFIX is for users to handle common issues such as cracked screens and battery problems, with some repairs completed within the same day, depending on parts availability.
Monthly subscription based on your phone’s price
There are two types of charges:
- Monthly subscription fee, billed to postpaid accounts or deducted from prepaid balance
- Service request fee, charged each time a repair is requested and paid directly to Swap Asia
The monthly subscription fee is based on the phone’s recommended retail price (RRP). It’s also worth noting that the subscription is contract-free and auto-renews monthly. Users can cancel at any time via the CelcomDigi app.
Here’s how much the subscription fees will cost based on each tier of RRP:

As shown in the table above, phones priced below RM500 will cost you RM3/month to subscribe to PhoneFIX, while midrange devices fall between RM5 to RM10 a month. Higher end phones meanwhile will set you back between RM17 to RM20 a month for PhoneFIX.
As for the service request fee, the price again changes depending on the device. Your flagship smartphone meanwhile will cost you an additional RM470 per request, on top of your RM20 monthly subscription. Those with sub-RM500 phones meanwhile will fork out RM30 per service request. It’s also worth pointing out that you can only make up to three repair requests within a 12-month period.

To subscribe to PhoneFIX, CelcomDigi users will first need to get the app. There, head to Shop and click Safety under the Lifestyle category. You’ll then want to click on PhoneFIX and let it do a diagnostics check on your device. Once that’s done, you can confirm your plan’s details and subscribe to PhoneFIX.
As part of the launch promotion, CelcomDigi is offering new PhoneFIX subscribers a RM1 fee for the first month from now till 31 March 2026. For more details about PhoneFIX, you can click here to head to its website.
