French high-end audio brand Cabasse has officially introduced The Pearl Collection in Malaysia. The series includes The Pearl, The Pearl Akoya, The Pearl Myuki, The Pearl Pelegrina, The Pearl Keshi, and The Pearl Sub. Cabasse combines elegant design with advanced acoustics, offering compact yet powerful speakers aimed at delivering high-fidelity audio.

The Pearl

Designed for larger spaces over 35m², The Pearl features Cabasse’s tri-coaxial speaker technology and a 25cm subwoofer. The speaker aims to provide distortion-free bass and an immersive 360-degree soundstage. Cabasse positions it as a high-fidelity option that blends performance with refined aesthetics.

It is priced at RM17,000 per unit, with optional accessories including a stand for RM2,400 and a wall bracket for RM1,300.

The Pearl Akoya

A direct descendant of The Pearl, The Pearl Akoya is designed for medium-sized rooms between 20m² and 35m². It also features tri-coaxial speaker technology and a powerful bass loudspeaker. A protective carry case and Bluetooth remote are included, with an optional wall bracket for mounting.

It is available at RM9,000 per unit, with stands priced at RM1,800 and wall brackets at RM900.

The Pearl Myuki

The Pearl Myuki is a more compact option that still delivers an immersive acoustic experience. Capable of reaching 109dB in stereo mode, it features Cabasse’s DOM 45 full-range loudspeaker and dual 12cm bass drivers in a push-push layout. The speaker offers a 12-hour battery life and LED tactile controls.

It is priced at RM5,600 per unit, with an optional wall mount available for RM900.

The Pearl Pelegrina

As the flagship model of The Pearl Collection, The Pearl Pelegrina is designed for audiophiles seeking the highest level of performance. It delivers 3700W RMS per speaker with a dynamic range of 134dB. It features Cabasse’s tri-coaxial driver and a 30cm HELD woofer housed in a 130cm tall enclosure. The design incorporates a polished mirror metal band and a sculptural Lissajous curve stand.

The Pearl Pelegrina is priced at RM160,000 per pair.

The Pearl Keshi

The Pearl Keshi is a 2.1 speaker system that includes a connected subwoofer and two miniature satellite speakers. With a total power output of 1050W RMS (300W per satellite, 450W for the subwoofer), it is designed for distortion-free sound in a compact form. It supports high-resolution audio, multi-room connectivity, and streaming services such as Spotify and Tidal.

The Pearl Keshi is priced at RM13,000 per set.

The Pearl Sub

Cabasse describes The Pearl Sub as the world’s first high-definition 2.1-connected active subwoofer. It integrates amplification, DAC, streaming, and a high-performance subwoofer into a single unit, removing the need for separate amplifiers. It is compatible with Cabasse’s iO3, Riga 2, and Baltic 5 speakers. The subwoofer features a 25cm woofer powered by 2000W peak output and has a spherical design with a chrome-plated steel base.

The Pearl Sub is priced at RM19,000 per unit.

    Samsung introduces Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G in Malaysia

    Samsung Malaysia has announced three new additions to its Galaxy A series: the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G. The new models bring AI-driven features, improved cameras, and long-term software support to Samsung’s mid-range lineup.

    All three new Galaxy A models share several features, including a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. They also come with a 5,000mAh battery and IP67-rated dust and water resistance. Samsung is also promising up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates.

    In terms of software features, the devices introduce AI-powered tools like Google’s Circle to Search and Samsung’s Object Erase, which allows users to remove unwanted objects from photos.

    The Galaxy A56 5G is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 processor. It features a triple-camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 12MP front camera.

    A key new addition is the Best Face feature, which lets users select the best expressions from a motion photo and stitch them together into a single shot. The phone supports 45W fast charging and is available in four colors: Awesome Lightgray, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Pink.

    The Galaxy A36 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Its rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. Like the A56 5G, it has a 12MP front camera and supports 45W fast charging.

    It is available in four color options: Awesome Lavender, Awesome Black, Awesome White, and Awesome Lime.

    The Galaxy A26 5G has a slightly different camera setup, with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera is a 13MP sensor. It also comes with IP67 dust and water resistance.

    This model is available in three colors: Black, Mint, and Peach Pink.

    The Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G will be available in Malaysia starting 18 March 2025. However, Samsung has not yet announced local pricing details.
