This New Chat-Based Job Platform Uses AI to Help You Land Your Perfect Job

A new jobseeking platform, Bossjob, has recently launched in Malaysia with a unique approach to alleviating the soul-crunching, time-consuming aspect of job searching – by using artificial intelligence (AI) to help employers and employees alike cut through the clutter and find their perfect match.
Describing itself as “Southeast Asia’s chat-based AI job platform,” Bossjob aims to humanize the jobseeking process by building instant bridges between jobseekers and potential employers that fit the bill, eliminating the burdensome waiting process and enabling faster hiring.

All of this is powered by an AI-matching engine that delivers real-time and relevant roles based on a variety of factors including applicant skills, preferences, and chat behavior. For some numbers, the company says that 83% of jobseekers receive a match within 24 hours, and 78% are hired within just seven days of chatting.
AI matchmaking aside, the platform also emphasizes its chat-first hiring as a unique point of differentiation, allowing jobseekers to message employers instantly without needing to fill out lengthy forms or endure long waiting times.

Bossjob may be new to Malaysia, but it is well acquainted with the job-hunting scene, having a strong presence in Singapore (its headquarters) and the Philippines. Bossjob is also operating in Indonesia and Japan.
The company holds promising statistics, claiming to have helped over 100 million jobseekers globally, with over 8,000 active employers across Southeast Asia – including prominent brands such as Jollibee, Lazada, and Uniqlo.

According to Bossjob, its entry into Malaysia is well-suited due to the demand for flexible, blue-collar, and entry-level jobs. Moreover, the nation’s mobile-savvy, youth-dominated population could bode well for Bossjob’s online presence across both its app and web platform.
For those interested, Bossjob is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Alternatively, users can access the web platform at bossjob.my.
