Borderlands 4: What We Know So Far [KKP]
Gearbox Software has shown off quite a bit of its upcoming looter shooter sequel Borderlands 4. While there’s a good mix of gameplay and cinematics, there are still a lot of unanswered questions, observations, and points to bring up from part 4’s big reveal at the end of 2024 -the good, bad, and not-quite-ugly.
Here are our thoughts on the Borderlands 4 official trailer, featuring a lot of returning elements and newfangled upgrades to our favourite antagonist group in the series….
The New Planet Is Called Kairos, And Features Cyber Psychos
At the start, you see a bunch of robotized Psychos all gathering as an army, ready to fight another yet-to-be-revealed group. The battleground they’re on is Kairos, a new planet that’s described as a “powder keg ready to explode”.

This new Psycho group might be SCAV, a reformation of the old Elpis-homed Psycho group from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. They’re all jacked up with robotics and cybernetic augments.

This group is most likely led by this prominent female Psycho with the two big robot arms from the trailer.

All of them look damn cool if I’m being honest, and hopefully would be a blast to fight against. Speaking of big bads….
The Timekeeper Is The Next Big Bad Guy

The next faction you will have to deal with is one led by an ominous figure called the Timekeeper. His army has distinct orange masks. With such a name, there’s a good chance we might see some time-travelling elements or alternate universe nonsense in the game’s main storyline.
