Bolt Rolls Out Bolt Business So You Never Have to File Travel Claims Again

By Timothy Teoh August 14, 2025

Bolt Malaysia has officially rolled out Bolt Business, offering a more convenient way for companies to manage employee travel. Bolt assures that its Business feature will have no onboarding fees and will provide companies with the benefit of a centralized ride management dashboard, complete with a suite of automated reporting tools.

Among the features companies will have access to on the dashboard are setting ride limits, assigning cost centres, tracking usage, and accessing real-time reports. This, in turn, will streamline expense management and reduce the typical paperwork associated with company travel, such as claims processing.

Afzan Lutfi, the General Manager of Bolt Malaysia, said: “Many businesses still struggle with messy claims and manual processes just to handle something as simple as a ride. With this launch, we’re providing them with a smarter, more transparent way to manage travel, while also creating more earning opportunities for local driver-partners.”

Since its local launch in November 2024, Bolt Malaysia has introduced a range of features aimed at making e-hailing a more seamless process. In less than a year, the company has rolled out various features, including toll fare integration, a ‘Flight Tracking’ feature that synchronizes Bolt rides with flight touchdown times, and the Family Profile, which allows one family member to manage rides on behalf of others.
