ASUS expands Vivobook Series with new S14 and S16 models in Malaysia
ASUS has introduced two new laptops under its Vivobook lineup—the Vivobook S14 and Vivobook S16—offering users updated hardware options in 14- and 16-inch form factors respectively.
The Vivobook S14 comes with a 14-inch Full HD+ display running at 60Hz. It is available in two configurations, either powered by an Intel Core i5-13420H or the newer Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor.
Both models are equipped with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB SSD storage. Notably, the i5 version includes an 8GB+8GB dual-channel memory setup, while the Ultra 7 variant features 16GB of on-board RAM with an additional SO-DIMM slot for memory upgrades.
Connectivity options include WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. The laptop features two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Type-C ports, one HDMI 1.4 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is powered by a 70Wh battery and weighs approximately 1.39kg.
The Core i5 model is offered in both Cool Silver and Matte Grey, while the Core Ultra 7 version is only available in Cool Silver.
The Vivobook S16 features a larger 16-inch Full HD+ display with a higher refresh rate of 144Hz. It runs on the Intel Core i5-13420H processor with Intel UHD Graphics. Similar to the S14’s i5 version, it includes 16GB of DDR5 RAM (8GB+8GB) and a 1TB SSD for storage.
Like its smaller counterpart, the S16 supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, and carries the same I/O setup: two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Type-C ports, one HDMI 1.4 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The battery capacity is also 70Wh, with the overall weight coming in at 1.7kg. This model is available in Matte Grey and Cool Silver.
ASUS Vivobook S14/16 price in Malaysia
In Malaysia, the ASUS Vivobook S14 with the Intel Core i5-13420H is priced at RM3,199, while the model with the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H retails for RM4,099. The Vivobook S16 is also priced at RM3,199.
The laptops will be available for purchase at all authorized ASUS resellers from 19 May 2025. ASUS also teased a Snapdragon X-powered variant of the Vivobook S14/16 – but those will be available later in July 2025.
