Both displays offer a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA DisplayHDR True Black certification, and TÜV Rheinland eye-care recognition.

Users can personalize their ASUS Vivobook S series laptops with the innovative ErgoSense RGB-backlit keyboard and Windows Dynamic Lighting, allowing them to adjust lighting colors and effects to suit their mood. The full-sized keyboard features a 19.05 mm key pitch, a 0.2 mm keycap dish, and 1.7 mm key travel for a comfortable typing experience, with a quiet scissor-key mechanism. The ASUS Vivobook S series has been redesigned to be slimmer and lighter, featuring an elegant all-metal chassis with a thickness of just 1.39 cm and a weight starting at 1.3 kg. It combines portability with powerful performance, including the latest AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, AMD Radeon 880M graphics, 24 GB LPDDR5X-7500 memory, and a 512GB PCIe® 4.0 SSD.

Availability and Pricing

The new ASUS Vivobook S 14 and S 16 powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors are now available in Malaysia in the Cool Silver color option from all ASUS authorized resellers, online and offline, priced at RM5,299 and RM5,499, respectively. The Neutral Black color option for both ASUS Vivobook S 14 and S 16 will be coming to Malaysia later, with availability by end October 2024.

HUAWEI introduces the HUAWEI MateBook D 14 2024, now available for purchase in Malaysia at RM3,299. This latest addition to the MateBook series can be purchased through the HUAWEI official website, HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, and HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada, with complimentary gifts valued at RM846.

Specifications

The HUAWEI MateBook D 14 2024 features a 14-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing 11.1% more viewing area. It is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certified and includes DC Dimming Flicker-Free technology. The laptop has a thickness of 15.9 mm and weighs 1.39 kg. The display can open to a full 180°. The keyboard offers 1.5 mm of key travel and has been tested for five million keystrokes.

In addition, it features a versatile port selection, including one USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, one USB-A 2.0 port, an HDMI port, a 3.5 mm headset and microphone 2-in-1 jack, and a fingerprint power button for added security and convenience.

Under the hood, the MateBook D 14 2024 is powered by the 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 processor and 16 GB of dual-channel memory. It comes equipped with a 512 GB NVMe PCIe SSD and features a 56Wh battery capacity, paired with a 65W multi-purpose charger. Additionally, the laptop includes the HUAWEI Metaline Antenna, which enhances Wi-Fi connectivity with a range of up to 270 meters.

The new Super Device feature allows for seamless integration with other HUAWEI devices, simplifying data management through the new SuperHub for easy data transfer across multiple devices. Enhanced communication capabilities include advanced noise cancellation, voice enhancement, and features like Beauty, FollowCam, Eye Contact, and Virtual Background.
